About Us

GB-Sol is a privately owned, independent UK company, manufacturing solar PV modules and mounting systems at its spacious premises just north of Cardiff.

GB-Sol has been at the forefront of solar power generation for several decades. Today, we continue to lead in the application of solar through our stunning roof-integrated solar power systems and Leisure panels.

GB-Sol manufactures custom PV panels and mounting systems for a wide range of applications; from roof integrated systems and architectural features, street lighting and water features, marine, caravan and motorhomes, we thoroughly enjoy spending time on projects that are challenging and worthwhile.

We believe in a greener world and as such, we work hard to reduce our own carbon footprint by using local suppliers, using recycled aluminium, produced in the UK and minimising our packaging.

The Benefits of Distribution

In addition to our own range, we also distribute Renusol mounting systems, SMA, Innotech PV panels, JCS PV panels and AES thermal solar systems.

Many installers take advantage of our stocks by using our next-day kit service where you decide whether you would like everything or a selection of the order, delivered to you on-site (all you need are a few  van consumables).

GB-Sol has gained a reputation in the industry for first class service.  Our Directors and Managers are personally involved in every decision we make and every customer we serve.

We understand you may not have the space or the availability to receive a delivery at your business premises so offer on-site delivery as standard.  If, for any reason, you do not have everything you need from us when you start work, just call us and we will ensure parts and spares are delivered to site as priority, reducing downtime.  All we ask is that you return what you don’t use to us when the job is complete.

Our team is both knowledgeable and experienced so you can discuss any project with them with confidence.  We specialise in projects that are both challenging and different and as our Leisure panels are made to order, they can be utilised for many different applications; both large and small.

We are not a huge, multi-national corporation.  We are large enough to obtain the necessary discounts on bought-in panels yet small enough to care; every customer is important to us, large or small.

Our hands-on training courses have proved extremely popular.  We are happy to share over 30 years experience and knowledge during our courses which have proved invaluable to those attending.
